Before & Afterschool | Risby Preschool & Childcare Services

We offer childcare before and after school for the children who attend Risby Primary School and our Preschool between the ages of 3-11yrs. We also offer Preschool children who are of the age of 2-4yrs to come into the setting from 8.45-9.00am before the normal Preschool session begins. Our ratio is 1 adult to 8 children for our wrap around services.

Early Birds for all children is held at the Preschool setting from 8.00-8.45am for school children and 8.00am-9.00am for Preschool children. We offer your child a safe environment with fun activities to start the day. The Primary school children are escorted to school by two responsible members of staff who ensure their safe arrival to school.

Our Afterschool Club is split depending on your child's age.
Our Afterschool club runs from 3.30-5.30pm. We hold the Afterschool club for children in Preschool (3yrs only) and Reception class to year 2 of school years at the Preschool setting and for children of school years 3-6 is held within the school run by our staff.

The children are offered a snack and a wide range of activities in a fun and relaxed environment. The children have access to age-appropriate resources and outdoor environment. Our children are invited to contribute by asking for their ideas, suggestions and feedback for activities/resources.

We offer parents/carers Early Birds and After-school club booking on a permanent basis or as an adhoc basis. If you require an adhoc session, we recommend you phone first to ensure there is a space. We can only book adhoc sessions 7 days in advance of the date you require.
