Welcome to Risby Preschool

Risby Preschool is a highly respected and well-established setting at the heart of our village community, providing high-quality childcare and early education for over 40 years. We are located close to Risby Primary School and enjoy a positive working relationship with the school. However, please note that attendance at the preschool does not guarantee a place at Risby Primary School.

We are proud of our inclusive, friendly, warm and welcoming approach. Our aim is to create an environment in which every child can thrive and feel valued, with your child being at the heart of all we do.

Our experienced, passionate and dedicated staff work hard to provide a safe, fun, caring and stimulating environment for your child. We welcome children from the term in which they turn 3 years old.

Your preschool child’s Key Person

While all staff support every child’s learning and play, each preschool child is assigned a Key Person.

Their role is to:

• Build a strong, trusting relationship with your child.
• Support and monitor your child’s individual learning and development.
• Be a consistent point of contact for families, available for questions, updates or concerns.

Wraparound Care Services

Alongside our Preschool sessions, we also offer before and after-school care in a relaxed and supportive environment.
These services run Monday to Friday, 8.00 am – 5.30 pm, for children aged 3 to 11 years who attend Risby CEVCP Primary School.

This provides flexible childcare to meet the needs of local families.
